Since it’s getting cold outside, we wanted to start off with a few hot espresso drinks that will truly bring your Jura Capresso Espresso Maker to life.
Spiced Latte
A classic espresso recipe, making a spiced latte will have just enough kick to please your guests while maintaining its basic taste with hints of other ingredients. To make a serving, add a teaspoon of honey, a dash of vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon to the bottom of the serving mug. Add a shot of fresh espresso and top with steamed milk (whole or 2% works best) for a drink that will have everyone smiling. You can even make variants by adding dark chocolate in with the honey.
Hazelnut Espresso
As we approach the holidays, there’s nothing like a classic festive espresso drink to enliven your spirits. Within each serving mug, add a teaspoon of cocoa powder and a half ounce of hazelnut syrup, then mix in 2-3 ounces of fresh espresso. Stir gently and add 10-16 ounces of steamed whole milk. Let the drink cool for a minute, then top with sweet whipped cream and drizzle with chocolate syrup to make the perfect holiday espresso.
Chai Espresso
For chai fans, you can make a great Chai espresso by taking your favorite chai mix, and stirring it in with 12 ounces of steamed whole milk, a small serving of syrup and a fresh shot of espresso. Add a small amount of whipped cream and cinnamon on top to get the drink just right.

Mochaccino
A new twist on a classic cappuccino, you can make a great “mochaccino” by combining 6 ounces of steamed low fat milk into a glass of ice cubes. On the side, combine a 3 ounce shot of espresso with an ounce of chocolate syrup and add to the main glass after the ice has melted.
Espresso Desert
For those with a sweet tooth, this desert recipe makes a great end to a delicious meal. To start, combine 5 tablespoons of ground espresso with 3 tablespoons of light brown sugar. Add steamed low fat milk and stir well. Once it has cooled, strain out the grinds from the beans, and add the resulting ingredients into a desert pan and place it into the freezer for a few hours. Wait for a bit, then add the mixture into cups and top with whipped cream and chocolate for a delicious, frozen desert.
